VISCOM Visual Communications realised the superordinated control system for technical installations of the national roads in the canton of Bern. More than 20 objects – mainly tunnels – are networked by Infra2000 and accessed to four maintenance services and the three operations centres of the cantonal police. The control system includes alert management, visualisation and control of operating conditions as well as integration of motion pictures via data networks. The system is successfully operated since 1999 and was continuously enhanced over the past years.
